Loved it. My old favourite place had closed so they recommended this place in Boat Quay alongside Singapore river. Man am I happy. Awesome Lamb Vindaloo, fantastic Naan - and icecold beer. My new favourite if You are going touristy. Will be coming back!
I should have realised that when in Singapore the vindaloo is going to be really, really spicy, namely because it is going to be much more authentic than the stuff you pick up in the food halls back in Australia. So, as I was wandering through the Boat Quay I came across this Indian Restaurant and decided that it was time to have a vindaloo. It was only after I had ordered it that I realised that it was going to be a proper vindaloo, and sure enough, as soon as I took a bite my mouth was on fire. Now that is what I call a good vindaloo. Anyway, this is probably not the cheapest place for good Indian, but then again it is located on the Boat Quay, and simply sitting outside on the river's edge, eating a vindaloo (even though it is hot) certainly gives this place a value for money. The service was pretty good, and you can even get tradition Indian beers. However, as I have suggested, there is really only one thing I eat when I eat Indian - yep, Vindaloo.
